the apec meeting ended last thurs! im quite glad its over because it has been really tiring to wake up at 6am every morning for 14 days straight! haha but overall it was a good experience(: and im really glad to make new friends! but its nice to see familiar faces there too! and we had a nice time gossiping bout someone hahaha

i guess im quite lucky to be able to be a meeting room assistant's assistant (lol) whr im able to sit in meetings and go off early when e meeting ends. e meetings arent exactly e most interesting but i did listen to some(: esp e MOH one and e last few meetings towards e end whr they became more exciting. haha. and most ppl there are really nice! cheryl's our room i/c with chris and i as her assistants(: other meeting room assistants will include bernadette, cassandra, wendy, clifford, edwyn and yingqing. v funny ppl(: haha its so funny to listen to their stories! e ushers are really nice too (: i was an usher for a day too. but think i would prefer to be in e meeting room. haha think xueling agrees w me too! haha

and the food! e bento set for lunch would be quite nice if it was given to us for a day. BUT to eat e same thing for 14 days straight wasnt exactly tt memorable lol. luckily we were able to eat some of e leftover food from e tea breaks and lunches. omg i ate e best ever chocolate cake there! Grand Corpthorne Waterfront Hotel's chocolate cake is definitely a must-try! hahaha it was so good(: half of e choc cake was actually pure chocolate! omg e taste still lingers in my mouth yummm.

on a more serious note, it was a gd working experience. e most important lesson learnt there was to not judge one by one's appearance. how true esp when all of us are in corporate wear, looking so decent and well-mannered. and i got to see a slight bit of office politics which i definitely dont like.

time for some rest! and some yellowreef haha.

and i went back to school to see dance again! syf's dance is nice(: if only i could join them...

it has just been 3 days but im really shagged. sighh i'll be missing the nuh attachment because of this but i really want to go:( alright apec is quite fun and all and its quite interesting to serve e vips. but it gets tiring aftr a while. i havent felt so sleepy when someone is talking ever before! not even in sch ok.. e closest thing to this was aacr. hahaha

but gg for this session really taught me quite alot. how we have to be determined and to stay committed. how some ppl are really so sharp and can speak so well. how important it is to speak good english and to provide gd service etc etc

i'll blog more abt this aftr e whole thing. and i think my eyebags are gg to reach my chin soon

ahhh whats e big fuss about studying overseas! why do people always think tt
studying overseas = better, greater exposure = you stand out from the rest?
sighh. ok i have nth to argue over the pt on having greater exposure and can be more independent, but nus is gd too! im a big fan of nus! okay maybe not but seriously nus is ranked 30th in the world and tt is really gd alr. its just sad tt nus doesnt offer more healthcare courses if not there will be so many more choices to choose from:( hmm why do scholarship providers make studying overseas seem so prestigeous and tempting? I LOVE SINGAPORE and i want to stay at home...

sigh im bored. i would rather be in school listening to lectures and laughing with friends. ok tts besides e pt. and think i'll be back soon haha.

a stress-free life isnt so ideal after all. okay maybe not exactly stress free. but e amt of stress is definitely reduced. ahhh and i need to EXERCISE. ask me out for a run or to cycle pls.

i've been staring at the com for days- to watch videos and to complete e little assignment tt i have. sighh not exactly an ideal lifestyle but at least i can save a little on transportation lol.

went down for a job interview ytd only to introduce myself and say tt i have no job experience. but its nice to see so many schmates there. haha it will be cool if we can all get e job(:

woots im reviving my passion(: tho its a pity tt i wont take this up in the future. ok but what im intending to do is rather related to this so i've gt no regrets hahaha

ok this post isnt making much sense except to myself i guess.

and lastly, let me rant a little before ending the post

i hate it when someone treats you like an insignificant piece of nothing when they dont require your help, but shower u with praises when they need a favour from you. is this what it is like in e society? i just cant stand how u always treat me as tho im transparent. yes i uds tt we were never close, we never had a topic to discuss or talk abt for long, but u shld respect me more. and so shld yr colleagues.

and to another individual: we dont owe each other anything. and im tired of e constant calls and rantings. yes i like to isolate myself and stay silent and would probably appear selfish. but tts how i am.
