yes. i love the holidays so much. the only period of time when i can have the freedom to sleep for as long as i want, and the freedom to do whatever i like when im at home. im so deprived of such a life. but this can get boring at times esp now when bro is not around to entertain me and help me with my work. and not to forget, i love having a cup of fruit juice right next to me when doing work on a table, may it be using the com, reading newspapers or trying to get some work done. the feeling of having all the time in the world to do what im doing brings me great pleasure. i wish a slow paced life. i shall migrate to the country side, or some suburban area next time when i retire. gosh how wonderful=) imagine sitting in a cottage surrounded by fragrant flowers, sipping a cup of fruit juice and reading a mag/ playing sudoku.
went to the polyclinic at mp with my grandma ytd to get her termly supply of medicine. gosh i didnt know the polyclinic was so complicated. we first had to get our waiting no. from a machine tt has so many buttons which are nt v clearly labelled, then we had to wait for such a long time with weird no.s popping up on the display screen. then we had to go e middle of e clinic for grandma to take her blood pressure, then go back to wait for the doc at e allocated room. den go deeper into the clinic for another test and go back to see e doc again. finally we waited to pay at a payment area, and had to go to the pharmacists area to get e medicine. so complicated! can imagine e amt of time spent/wasted there.
went to the wet market after tt and i found it so interesting! lol. this shows how couped up we are with sch wrk tt we neglect stuffs like going to the market, examing the different fish/ veges. ahh! maybe the sch shall bring us to the wet market for a field trip next time. lol. theres so many diff kinds of fish! so alike yet they are different! when comparing 2 fish, e first thought tt came into my mind was this fish ate more than the other so its bigger in size, but e fact is they are 2 completely diff types of fish! ahh! how can you actually tell? n when looking at e vegs, my grandma kept asking what i wanted, and she started pointing at e diff vegs and blurting out their names. tho the veg names sound familiar, but they look totally foreign to me, except for the fact tt they are a bunch of leaves sitting in a basket. and the lesson learnt was(LOL): be observant and know what u are eating. this shows how important food science is! yes! biomolecules and food chem! wooshhh
haha im so amused. my father is staring at his office laptop and laughing. and i was doing the exact same thing a minute ago when i saw the gp email mr cave sent us. we are to do an essay plan within a short period of time and journal/reviews on a bk or podcast. i thot doing on a bk will be ok at first, UNTIL i saw the book list. i have never heard of one bk! lol is that sad or what? ok maybe i heard of the hunchback of notre dame, but i've only heard of e movie. LOL
the only few sad things this hols are tt the flu virus is invading my family! ahh! grandma is sick too and i was probably e one tt passed e virus to her=( and my hip is hurting again! very badly this time, not e kind of pain tt will go off after putting salonpas(how to spell) for one night! boo im sad
i love the hols so much!
