yes. i love the holidays so much. the only period of time when i can have the freedom to sleep for as long as i want, and the freedom to do whatever i like when im at home. im so deprived of such a life. but this can get boring at times esp now when bro is not around to entertain me and help me with my work. and not to forget, i love having a cup of fruit juice right next to me when doing work on a table, may it be using the com, reading newspapers or trying to get some work done. the feeling of having all the time in the world to do what im doing brings me great pleasure. i wish a slow paced life. i shall migrate to the country side, or some suburban area next time when i retire. gosh how wonderful=) imagine sitting in a cottage surrounded by fragrant flowers, sipping a cup of fruit juice and reading a mag/ playing sudoku.

went to the polyclinic at mp with my grandma ytd to get her termly supply of medicine. gosh i didnt know the polyclinic was so complicated. we first had to get our waiting no. from a machine tt has so many buttons which are nt v clearly labelled, then we had to wait for such a long time with weird no.s popping up on the display screen. then we had to go e middle of e clinic for grandma to take her blood pressure, then go back to wait for the doc at e allocated room. den go deeper into the clinic for another test and go back to see e doc again. finally we waited to pay at a payment area, and had to go to the pharmacists area to get e medicine. so complicated! can imagine e amt of time spent/wasted there.

went to the wet market after tt and i found it so interesting! lol. this shows how couped up we are with sch wrk tt we neglect stuffs like going to the market, examing the different fish/ veges. ahh! maybe the sch shall bring us to the wet market for a field trip next time. lol. theres so many diff kinds of fish! so alike yet they are different! when comparing 2 fish, e first thought tt came into my mind was this fish ate more than the other so its bigger in size, but e fact is they are 2 completely diff types of fish! ahh! how can you actually tell? n when looking at e vegs, my grandma kept asking what i wanted, and she started pointing at e diff vegs and blurting out their names. tho the veg names sound familiar, but they look totally foreign to me, except for the fact tt they are a bunch of leaves sitting in a basket. and the lesson learnt was(LOL): be observant and know what u are eating. this shows how important food science is! yes! biomolecules and food chem! wooshhh

haha im so amused. my father is staring at his office laptop and laughing. and i was doing the exact same thing a minute ago when i saw the gp email mr cave sent us. we are to do an essay plan within a short period of time and journal/reviews on a bk or podcast. i thot doing on a bk will be ok at first, UNTIL i saw the book list. i have never heard of one bk! lol is that sad or what? ok maybe i heard of the hunchback of notre dame, but i've only heard of e movie. LOL

the only few sad things this hols are tt the flu virus is invading my family! ahh! grandma is sick too and i was probably e one tt passed e virus to her=( and my hip is hurting again! very badly this time, not e kind of pain tt will go off after putting salonpas(how to spell) for one night! boo im sad

i love the hols so much!
yes. and i have to cross the hurdle after the hols before getting excited for shanghai.

the long awaited sch holidays are finally here. to say the truth im really shagged. e last week of sch has been really tiring and brain draining. cos of the numerous revision exercises we were assigned to do to get ready for the common tests when sch reopen. and i've been going for ballet reh almost everyday for the past week, reaching home at like 10 plus everyday. i really need this break. FOR REST

thinking about common test makes me stressed. but im nt tt stressed yet tho. haha. those in beijing are mugging really hard as i heard, but different ppl gt diff methods of studying so theres no pt getting yrself so stressed up as long as u have done yr best. holidays are meant for relaxing! and getting yrself a well deserved break! gahh i dno how to start =X

changing teachers for chem and geog next sem. maybe bio too. hmm i dont like this thing on changing teachers in the middle of the year cos we are alr quite used to the current tchers tt we are having and i really like them alot! as in they are gd tchers and v friendly and all. hmm but guess some things are nt up to us to decide and can just hope that things go on alright.

so many things to do this hols. but im really happy that the hols have started alr. cs concert was over in a blast and everything went on quite smoothly. ahh! i love happy family and the syf dance! and cant believe xieren is over alr. it was a yr ago when we were in their positions, passing on our duties to our juniors, relieved yet sad that our days as com were going to be over. time passes so quickly. guess before we even realise, we will be leaving dance society alr, and a levels would be here. i cant imagine how it'll all be like then.

i hate being sick... again

came back from level camp at bintan yesterday. the camp was fun! much better than what i've expected and i enjoyed it! other than the irritating mosquitoes and the fact tt my whole luggage stank after the trip, it was a good camp. i like the water activities. esp boom netting flying fox and kayaking. haha trekking was a gd experience tho im nt sure if i wanna do it again. haha. and i wanna say that: we love mdm leong! haha probably cos she was following 5c during the activities, and shes really sporting and nice! woshh

its not usual for me to develop this strong sense of dislike for someone, esp a teacher. and i promise i'm not the only one feeling this way.
teachers are here to teach us more, and try to instill a passion in us, in the subject that they are teaching. and in order to do so they have to first earn the students respect by respecting the students. being teachers, SHE has to first set a good example for students, in terms of dressing, manner of speaking, behaviour etc. but apparently i see none. ok i may sound quite mean but i just cant help it. i didnt use to have a bad impression of her until recently, because she is not one of my teachers. but the other day, just when some of us were still in e cls, packing our things getting ready to leave e cls, she walked in. thats very normal because shes going to have a cls in our cls in like 5 min. BUT she just had to drive us out of the class so rudely and full of disrespect! gosh. i mean if u asked us to leave the cls nicely in a way like: "Im sorry but can u all leave the cls now because im going to have lessons here now." i wont have anything to say abt it. but instead we were driven out of the cls. ohman. im so glad none of the other teachers in dhs are like that. and im so glad e teachers tt have taught me/ are teaching me are all so nice and friendly and worth respecting.

ok maybe i've said it in a rather blunt manner but i just need to get this off my chest.

term's ending (once again) in a flash. and im nt looking forward to the start of the new term. esp with common tests welcoming us back to sch. gahh wonder how e june hols will be like. i'll just die of boredom if i were to stay at home and mug everyday. i wanna do sthg meaningful /beneficial/ purposeful. any suggestions?
