An extremely random post

Few days back, probably on Sunday times, I saw this article which said: diet books don’t make it big in Singapore. Because of the delicacies in Singapore that is hard to resist. Interesting, and very true indeed! Laksa, cha kweh tiao, curry. These foods are so delicious, yet think about the amount of calories in such food. One would regret only after eating it.

Food is life man. Haha. I just can’t imagine how some people can go without food for a few days, or to go on a diet etc. it’s like asking me to live without breathing! Lol. Haha I love food! My bro once said to me, since I like food so much maybe I should just go and be a dietician. Haha a career worth considering, although I really don’t know what tt job is about.

Was cutting a papaya only to realise that there's a mini papaya inside the papaya! haha it was v cool and we were all so amused by it! haha mutated papaya =)should have sent it to the newspaper centre or some museum. lol!

Lost the inspiration to blog. Shall stop now haha

'old habits die hard' that's what they always say to us. it's really true, unless one is determined enough to change those habits. same with how one is made to be. some people may be better in some things than another; different people have different strengths. some people have bow legs, where the knees cant touch when the feet are placed together. yet some people are made in a opposite manner, where the knees can touch but the feet cant close. we cant control such differences, and yet we cant correct them either. no human is perfect i guess, those with great feet/ extensions/ turn out are just lucky to have them. not to forget those with quick- thinking minds too. something which i longed to have since probably inter found. i just dont have the brains, or say memory/ alertness to pick up those steps quickly. i'm a slow person. things have to be drilled into me before i can do sthg right. hmm guess this isnt an advantage for me next time when we all get out to work. any tips on increasing brain size? or make it function better? lol

went to mt sinai campus this morning again for telematch dry run. was ok i guess but to admit it i was kinda shagged and wasnt really very prepared for it. sorry guys. but things went well i guess and wanton mee at ghim moh market is quite nice! haha sugar cane rocked too! haha had a funny time during lunch today! so amused somehow. left at 330 for ballet. and i timed my trip. lol. it takes about 1 hr 15 min to travel from the mt sinai campus to parkway. given tt you take 92 from the sch gate to buona vista mrt and tt the buses and mrt comes the moment you reach the station. so this concludes tt, life next year isnt looking very bright somehow. lol

sheesh now i regret handing up the form. i'm so not looking forward to fri. like wad i've said. my brain just cant function fast enough. gahh

truimph in the skies! i'm so in love with this show! haha channel u 10pm on weekdays! its a MUST watch. hahaha yichen!! lol!

seedless grapes are definitely nicer than those with seeds. the wonders of genetically modified foods! hahaha so random.

kinda miss sch with lessons. in the tanjong rhu dhs campus. cant believe we will never actually get to have lessons there anymore. there are just so many gd memories in tt place=)

a very meaningful story i read in valerie's blog:

When things in your lives seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. "Now," said the professor as the laughtersubsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things--your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only theyremained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car. The sand is everything else---the small stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things thatare important to you."

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

Please share this with someone you care about.

we have to get our priorities right. this time in life might be a period where friends are the most important, where you would think tt yr parents are irritating just because they keep nagging at you or whatsoever. but neglect the effort they put in to give you the best and let you live in comfort. it may be a time where you keep studying, telling yourself to be more competitive, to achieve higher grades than another. but neglect the morals, and the outcomes/skills that you should obtain during the process of studying.

went for ballet today, tho ms lee wasnt there. just had this thought: why am i here? time after time this week aftr the hcl os, i was supposed to go for cls. but because of reasons like sch in the morning/ going out with friends i didnt attend cls. i'm just not disciplined enough to force and bring myself to go for cls. but during e cls today, although it was much slacker than when ms lee was here, i felt tt it was meaningful. " you may not be taking exams. you may not have an interest in teaching. but you come because you want to dance. because u have the passion."

im listening to e song xh sent me again and again! haha it's just so nice! my twin! lol. i had no choice but to be separated early from you ya! lol!!
